FSA (Føroyskt sum annaðmál/Faroese as a Second Language) are language classes for adult newcomers whose first language is not Faroese. The main focus is to learn the Faroese language and gain insight into Faroese culture and society.
The content of the classes follows the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), and courses are available for both basic and independent users.
Classes are offered both during the daytime and in the evenings. The school start for daytime classes is in August and January, while the start dates for evening classes vary.
